Enjoying the Weekend

I worked all Friday morning to finish the upper arcs for the DWR, and look at the results!  My 5 piles are down to 3.  I know it looks like there are more upper arcs than lower, but there really aren't.  I'm so proud to get it this far.

I have several things that I need to put in the mail - my swap apron, the Red and Aqua D9P blocks, the Civil War Siggie blocks, and my Friendship bag.  I can't believe I have so much at one time to be mailed. I'll have quite a little bill at the PO.  Maybe I'll spread them out a little.  The only ones that must go now are the Friendship bag and the Apron.  The others are more expensive to mail because of the return envelope.  Oh well, the price we pay to participate.

I have to make 2 blocks for 2 different people, and I'm stuck.  I tried several this afternoon and nothing seemed to be just right.  I need to get them done tomorrow to go out by Monday, but I'm not sure what I want to do.  I'm going to spend some time this evening searching on the internet for one or two that strike my fancy.  I finally gave up and made a couple of DJ block.  I'm going to have to redo the outer triangles on the bottom one; it's too small.  My DJ signature is now 26,0,0,578.  For those of you who may not be familiar with this quilt, that means that I have completed 26 blocks, no side triangles, no corner kites, 578 total pieces.  I'm loving this quilt.
