I worked so hard on my last DJ block that I decided to take a little break from it and finish up my quilt top for the Green and Cream No Sew Swap that Pat hosted. I loved the swap and the blocks that came from it. I made 18 more blocks to add to them to make a queen size quilt top. Sorry, but my arms just aren't long enough to hold it by the corners. I'll try to get a better picture after it's done.
I debated about sashing it with white or green, and when I went to look at fabric, I loved this deep green. I think it pulls all the shades together. I'm not going to hand quilt it because I'm still trying to get my D9P finished from a swap last year, and I don't want to wait that long for this one.
You may already know that I am participating in Sandi Andersen's Good Egg's Giveaway. It's been fun getting ready for it, but I had to order the pattern I wanted to give, and it didn't come in until Monday! I was just sure I was going to have to find something else.
If you're interested in this little cutie, just leave me a comment about it. Just be sure that I can contact you if you should be the winner - either leave me an email address or a link back to your blog. The giveaway is open to anyone, and will remain open until Sunday, March 28 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. Enjoy hopping to all the blogs! To begin the hop, just click on the bunny in my sidebar and it will take you to Sandi's blog.

Welcome to my blog. As you can see from my WIP list, my interests are varied, but unfortunately, keep me sitting still to complete them. I am retired, and enjoying all the freedom it brings. My hubby and I enjoy travel, especially cruises, and you can count on seeing pictures of our travels here on occasion. So, I hope you enjoy what I put here, as much as I enjoy my visits to your blog.
